Easter egg-stravaganza

The Verndale Lions held their annual breakfast and Easter egg hunt on Saturday, March 31. Due to the several inches of fresh snow in the park, the egg hunt was moved inside the Verndale Fire Hall. Kids were split up into three age brackets to give them all a fair chance of collecting as many treat filled eggs as they could. A few lucky kids found eggs that contained a piece of paper telling them they had won a big prize that included fun toys.
