Wendel is last Eagle Valley TOY

Third grade teacher Jill Wendel was awarded Teacher of the Year at the Eagle Valley School.

Wendel was raised on a farm in Wheatland, North Dakota. She thought teaching would be a good fit for her and persued her undergrad in elementary education at North Dakota State University and at Valley City State University. She received her master’s degree from Saint Mary’s University.

“My grandmother was a teacher, on my dad’s side, and my dad had siblings that went into teaching,” said Wendel.
