News from Clarissa's Past 25 Years Ago April 18, 2001 The Randy and Cari Jonas family who live south of Clarissa have had several of their sheep killed in the past few weeks. According to Randy, the sheep started showing up dead and were usually cornered in the pasture. They got rid of their dogs thinking they were the culprit. News from Bertha and Hewitt's Pasts 25 Years Ago April 18, 2001 Fire Chief Pete Wallner was present at the April 9 meeting to inquire about updating the fire hall. He wants to brighten up the hall by having three rows of fluorescent lights installed and put a fresh coat of paint on the walls. The department is cramped for space.
