Improvement projects at 39 Minnesota airports recently got clearance for takeoff, the Minnesota Department of Transportation announced. MnDOT will award $8 million collectively for pavement improvement and turf rehabilitation, crack rehabilitation and removal of obstructions on runways and taxiways. Seip Drug in Clarissa has temporarily closed due to a shortage of pharmacists. The pharmacy closed at the end of June. Owner Nathan Seip said the closure is not related to a lack of business but rather the ongoing challenge of finding a pharmacist to staff the location. In the meantime, Seip Drug is assisting customers through its Battle Lake location.
