On October 14, at approximately 3:56 p.m., the Wadena County Emergency Communications Center was advised of a crash involving a school bus in the area of 220th Street and 205th Avenue in Wadena County. Upon arrival, deputies located a car with significant front end and front passenger side damage. A Sebeka School bus had disabling front end damage. It was determined that the car, being driven by a juvenile female, was traveling west on 220th Street in the center of the road

A Hewitt woman was killed in a two-vehicle crash on Sunday evening, October 4, on Highway 29 in Compton Township, Otter Tail County. According to the Minnesota State Patrol, the crash was reported at approximately 6:56 p.m. near the intersection of Highway 29 and County Highway 75. The Wadena County Sheriff’s Office received a 911 call about a house fire on Monday, September 7, at approximately 5 a.m. The location of the fire was reported in Section 28 of North Germany Township in Wadena County. Deputies and fire department personnel arrived on scene and found a mobile home completely engulfed in flames and collapsed.
