Abby Ervasti State Champion: David Revering Places 5th

The culmination of the season took place last weekend at the Xcel Energy Center at the State Tournament. Individuals took the floor on Friday as BHVPP had six qualifiers on the mat for the boys with the girls' competition being held on Saturday.
The Raiders did not receive any seeds so the first round was going to be difficult trying to pull upsets.
Justin Olson was first out of the chute against the #4 seed. He battled but came up short in the second period. His opponent would lose in the quarterfinals ending his 30-win season.
Next up was Bennet Arceneau squaring off against a former champion. Bennet’s opponent was aggressive and never let Bennet get to his offense compiling takedowns early and often. In the end, Bennet slowed him down and wrestled him to a major decision defeat. The former champ would drop his next match concluding a great season and career for Arceneau…
