Browerville Tigers Compete Strongly at Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Subsection Meet

The Browerville Tigers turned in a solid performance at the Long Prairie-Grey Eagle Subsection Track and Field Meet, highlighted by a championship relay, several top-five finishes, and strong efforts from athletes across multiple events.
Leading the way for the Tigers was the girls’ 4x100-meter relay team of Raylann Morgan, Brooke Perish, Claire Perish, and Gabby Elke. The quartet sprinted to a first-place finish in 51.72 seconds, earning 10 team points and claiming the subsection title.
Brooke Perish had an outstanding day individually as well. The sophomore placed second in the girls’ 100-meter dash with a time of 13.48 seconds and added a fourth-place finish in the 200-meter dash in 27.24 seconds. Claire Perish also scored valuable points, taking fifth in the 100-meter dash in 13.90 seconds.
In the field events, sophomore Raylann Morgan continued her impressive season with fourth-place finishes in both the discus and shot put. Morgan threw the discus 105 feet and launched the shot put 32 feet, 4 inches, earning five points in each event...
