Celebrating 75 Years of Minnesota WMAs

For 75 years, Minnesota’s wildlife management areas (WMAs) have provided places for people to hunt, fish and enjoy the great outdoors.
Now, the National Wild Turkey Federation and its partners are helping celebrate that legacy by inviting the public to share their own WMA experiences. In honor of the 75th anniversary of Minnesota’s WMA system, the Minnesota DNR and its partners are hosting a photo contest highlighting the people, wildlife and landscapes found on WMAs across the Land of 10,000 Lakes.
The contest is open and runs through December 1.
Participants are encouraged to submit photos showing how they experience Minnesota’s WMAs, whether that means time spent hunting, exploring with family, watching wildlife or simply enjoying the outdoors.
The NWTF is sponsoring the contest alongside Ducks Unlimited, Backcountry Hunters & Anglers, Pheasants Forever, the Ruffed Grouse Society and American Woodcock Society, Minnesota Deer Hunters Association, Minnesota Wildlife Federation and Outdoor News...
