CentraCare celebrates National Donate Life Month

April is National Donate Life Month. Every year, CentraCare—Long Prairie spreads awareness about organ, tissue and eye donation and honor those who gave the gift of life.

To show their support, CentraCare—Long Prairie held a flag-raising ceremony on Monday, April 1, at 12 p.m. It was held at the flagpole outside of the hospital and was led by Jodi Hillmer, director of Patient Care Services.

Hillmer read a poem along with some participants sharing their personal stories of being touched by donation and transplantation....
