Community pushes forward in fourth attempt to fund Hilltop Square Apartments

On Monday, April 14, community members gathered at Hilltop Regional Kitchen to show support and hear updates about the Hilltop Square Apartments project—an ambitious regional housing initiative proposed for the former Eagle Bend/Eagle Valley School building. This marks the fourth application attempt to secure funding, and supporters are more determined than ever.

Presenters included Central Minnesota Housing Partnership Executive Director Deanna Hemmesch, Todd County Council on Aging Director Verna Toenyan, and Hilltop Square Representative Sharon Notch.
