Farmers to Families returned for another well-attended distribution
The Farmers to Families food distribution returned to the Verndale Family Life Church on November 17. There were 930 boxes of food and 1000 gallons of milk distributed. The distribution lasted less than two hours as volunteers formed four lines to move the long line of vehicles through quickly. The boxes included dairy, produce, and protein. These boxes contained a large package of hot dogs, cheese, liquid eggs, strawberry yogurt, sour cream, cottage cheese, pulled pork, oranges, carrots, red potatoes, onions, and apples. The next distribution will be held on December 15 at 4 p.m.
