Geezers shake off the rust winning three straight games

The Minnesota Senior Men’s Amateur Baseball Association 35+ league got underway for the Verndale Geezers on June 4 as they took to the field against the Alexandria Classic Clippers.

The Geezers put up the first run of the game in the first inning of play, only to have the Classic Clippers plate 6 runs in the bottom of the sixth inning. The Classic Clippers eventually won the game by the 10-run rule with a final score of 11-1.

After shaking off the rust, the Geezers won three straight games.

The first win came against the Fergus Falls Riverdogs by a score of 10-2. . .
