The Verndale Public Works crew was out on Tuesday, November 23 putting Christmas decorations up around town. Jason Rurup was hoisted up to the light pole to hang a snowflake. (Not pictured in web version), Rurup and Supervisor Matt Uselman checked out the tree in McNair Park that they had just finished decorating. While there may not be a Festival of Lights this year, the tree and other decorations were turned on the night of November 27 for the holiday season.
