Kickoff meeting held for Small Cities Development Program

The Small Cities Development Program (SCDP) and Central MN Housing Partnership (CMHP) held their kickoff meeting on April 26 at the Bertha Community Center.
The room was filled with people eager to get an application to cover home repairs.
This program covers residents in the city limits of Bertha and Hewitt, and only 16 applications for projects will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis.
Messina Owings, program manager with Central Minnesota Housing Partnership, Inc., explained the application process to those in attendance, emphasizing a complete application with all the correct and necessary attachments needed, which will be looked at first.
