Lady Tigers end one busy week and jump right into another

by Coach Jeni Burns

The Tigers ended a busy week on Saturday in Barnum, and jumped right back into action on Monday with a road trip to one of the top seeds in Section 5a, Nevis. The girls were able to lock down defensively for most of the first half only giving up 22 points while scoring 19 of their own.

The Tigers again in the second half were able to hold the defending section champs to just 23 points, but could only find a way to score 20 of their own to eventually fall short.

Free throws and poor shooting around the rim contributed to the low-scoring affair for the Tigers.

On Tuesday, the Tigers geared up to play their third game in four days against Upsala.

A very slow and sluggish start for the Tigers both offensively and defensively made for a quick start for the Cardinals. The Tigers quickly found themselves down by 7 at the half. . .
