It was a tough assignment for the Bears to come back after the Christmas break going over two weeks without a game and then getting back into action on a Saturday afternoon opposite the Viking/Saints in a football game. The team made the best if it though, traveling to Wadena and defeating the Wolverines 56-45 with an excellent crowd of Bears fans on hand. In the second half, the Bears put it together on offense as they showed patience and good inside passing. Ryan Samuelson and Nathan Hagen were able to get the ball around the free throw line and distribute it from there.
