Sixth grade students at the public and Catholic schools in Browerville were taking their firearms safety class this week with instructor John Gagnon. The students don’t have to take the Firearms Safety Certification test but they can if they choose to. The class aims to make students aware of safe handling techniques.

The Browerville Cub Scout Pack #333 delivered food bags to the food shelf on October 12. There was 325 pounds of food that was delivered. The Cub Scouts thank everyone for their donations. The Browerville High School Agricultural Department has had many requests to have a young farmer program. The young farmer program is open to anyone on a farm or farm boy who is out of school and not married. Young farmer classes usually consist of 12 meetings of two hours each. This was submitted by Mr. Linn, agricultural instructor, Browerville.

A movie entitled “Monastery” will be shown at the Paderewski Hall on Sunday evening, October 29, at 7:30 and 9:15. This is a sound picture. It shows the authentic record of the lives of the monks in a Trappist Monastery. It is approved by ecclesiastical authorities.
