Congratulations to MerriAnne Werder and Sarah Gonsior as they were the Browerville Girl’s All Conference basketball players. And the boys All Conference players were Ryan Gritz, Mitch Johnson (MVP) and Jeremy Reed.

Todd County’s township officers held their annual meeting in Browerville last Thursday. They learned about projects the Region Five Development Commission has been involved in during the past year and discussed areas of common concern and interest. Pictured: Jerry Ruda spoke to about 85 people who attended the meeting.

April 19, 1951

The Wrobel’s Texaco Station of this village held their annual “Texaco Farm Show” last Wednesday evening at Paderewski Hall. About 250 local people were present and enjoyed a very interesting and entertaining program. A movie showing the use and benefits of car motors and tractors of the new custom-made Havoline Oil and other Texaco products was enjoyed by all present.

The Todd County Dairy Cooperative is this week appealing to our dairy farmers in the area to produce more milk. There is a very heavy demand for more milk by the government in the present emergency. So all farmers are being asked to produce more dairy products at this time.
