New youth pastor is ordained: “I have always loved working with kids”

Pastor Sarah Collins is the new youth pastor at the New Life Church of God in Bertha. Her ordination ceremony was held on October 31.
She currently resides in rural Deer Creek with her husband Mike and her mother Sandi. She moved to the area in 1997 and fell in love with the school, community, and the people.
Collins recently completed the Church of God’s leadership program.
The number of children receiving guidance from her varies. The Sunday School class has approximately 30 children, the Release Time program has close to 80 kids signed up, the Kids For Christ Family has 22 families signed up with a total of 50 kids and Vacation Bible School ranges between 40 to 50 students.
