No Kings Rally Held

Todd County Trump Resistance and Resist!

Long Prairie held another Pro Democracy rally in Long Prairie on Saturday, November 22. It was the group’s seventh such protest since Donald Trump’s inauguration in January.

The group also held a Know Your Constitutional Rights workshop, attended by over fifty people, in February.

The November rally was attended by twenty-six people from Long Prairie and around the county. Protesters carried signs declaring “Kings are Not Welcome Here,” “Immigrants Are Welcome Here,” and “Dump Trump.”

Resist! Long Prairie and Todd County Trump Resistance claims to be not only against what they see as an attack on basic American Constitutional Rights but for a government that cares for all of its citizens...
