Offensive Firepower Leads Tigers to Victory in Busy Week on the Diamond

The Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers had a busy week on the diamond, winning three of six games against tough competition while continuing to show inconsistencies on the offensive and defensive sides of the ball.

The week opened with an 11–8 victory over the West Central Area Knights in a back-and-forth battle. The Tigers jumped out early with four runs in the first inning and kept the pressure on throughout the game, finishing with 11 hits. Lydia Reed had a huge performance at the plate, going 2-for-2 with 2 home runs and six RBIs. Kelsey Schmitt added a hit and scored once, while Olivia Browen chipped in a hit and an RBI. Bristol Bruder collected two hits and drove in a pair, and Elsie Puck and Alayna Riedel each had a hit and scored twice. In the circle, Bruder earned the win after pitching all seven innings.
