One more off the bucket list: Booker passes on the love of bowling to next generation

One more off the bucket list...

Butch Booker has been bowling for most of his whole life.

He got his three boys started in the sport at a very young age, too.

“It has been a family tradition as we all have a love and passion for the sport. We have bowled in many leagues and tournaments together over the years as we all approach it in a competitive way,” said Butch who lives in Clarissa.

They’re all pretty equal in regard to their bowling averages and tourney results over the years as each family member has had something to be proud of.

“There aren’t much bragging rights amongst us as we’re usually bowling as a team or doubles pair and always helping and supporting each other,” said Butch.

The Booker family name is well known around the area as they have covered a lot of ground in tournament bowling over the years. . .
