Personal Bests Pile Up at St. John's Indoor Meet

Several athletes turned in strong performances and personal-best marks at the St. John’s Indoor meet on March 27.
Boys
Jonah Berg led the way with multiple top finishes. Berg placed second in the 55-meter dash with a personal-best time of 6.94 seconds. He also took fifth in the 200 meters in 26.14 seconds. In the field events, Berg finished third in the high jump with a personal-best clearance of 5 feet, 6 inches and third in the long jump with a personal-best leap of 18 feet.
Henry Batista also posted several solid results. Batista placed fifth in the 55 meters with a personal-best time of 7.04 seconds and sixth in the 200 meters in a personal-best 26.34 seconds. In field events, he finished sixth in the shot put with a personal-best throw of 35 feet, 6 inches and fourth in the high jump with a season-best height of 5 feet, 4 inches.
Ethan St. George recorded personal-best marks in several events, finishing 14th in the 55 meters in 7.54 seconds and 25th in the 200 meters in 29.34 seconds. He also placed 12th in the shot put with a throw of 25 feet and ninth in the long jump with a leap of 14 feet, 5 inches...
