Personal Bests Propel Tigers to Strong Finish at Class A Meet

The Browerville Tigers track and field team traveled to Moorhead for Class A competition and came away with several strong performances and personal bests against tough competition.

Sophomore sprinter Brooke Perish led the Tigers with an outstanding day on the track. Perish placed third in the girls’ 100-meter dash with a personal-best time of 12.91 seconds, earning six team points. She also competed in the 200-meter dash, finishing 15th in 28.65 seconds.

Claire Perish also had a strong showing in the 100-meter dash, placing seventh with a personal-best time of 13.35 seconds to score two points for Browerville.

In the relays, the Tigers’ girls 4x100-meter relay team finished fourth with a season-best time of 51.22 seconds. The team of Raylann Morgan, Claire Perish, Grace Elke, and Brooke Perish earned five team points with the impressive finish...
