Pickle Princess Pageant Comes to Hewitt

A new Pickle Princess Pageant is being established in Hewitt, providing local girls from Bertha and Hewitt the opportunity to don crowns and sashes while serving as positive role models at parades and community events.
At a recent planning meeting, organizer Jennie Flanery outlined the structure of the pageant, emphasizing that the focus will be on fun, community spirit, and individuality rather than strict pageant formalities.
Flanery explained that contestants will be divided into age groups: Little Miss for grades K-3, Jr. Miss for grades 4-7, and Teen for grades 8-12. Instead of being questioned individually, each group will answer a shared on-stage question.
