Raiders Compete at Otter Invitational

The Bertha-Hewitt-Verndale Raider boys track and field team traveled to Fergus Falls High School on Friday, April 10, to compete in the Otter Invitational. In their first outdoor meet of the season, the Raiders turned in their strongest performance to date, finishing fourth out of five teams with 97 points. Bemidji once again claimed the team title with 157 points.

The Raiders were led by several first-place finishes on the track. Dylan Day won the 400-meter dash and added a second-place finish in the 200 meters. Brady Rach had a standout day in the distance events, winning both the 800-meter and 1600-meter runs. Henry Lockwood added another individual title with a first-place finish in the 3200 meters, while Nolan Rach placed second in the same event...
