Raiders reign at Section 6A

The Section 6A team tournament was highly anticipated with four, even five teams believing they could come out on top.
Friday night in Wadena didn’t disappoint as the fans began filling the bleachers a half hour before the first whistle creating a wild and loud environment.
BHVPP opened the late afternoon matinee against Pelican Rapids and after dropping the first match, rallied for a nine-match win streak.
Hudson Truax and Isaac Grabow secured technical falls. Orran Hart and Justin Olson picked up pins. Gage Barthel added a decision and Preston Captain, Tanner Schulke, David Revering, and Eli Holmquist all added six points to make it 49-3 with three weights to go.
The Vikings would take the next two bouts before Zach Bosman anchored a pin to advance the team to the semifinals with a 55-12 victory.
