CentraCare Clinic of Long Prairie and Lakewood Heath System of Staples have joined together to build a new clinic south of Eagle Bend off Highway 71. They are building a new health facility which will be a 5000 square foot building. A groundbreaking ceremony was held Friday, December 29. January 15, 1976
It was another great day at the ice races—the weather was beautiful. The track was filled with 28 racing entries. A large crowd was on hand to enjoy eight terrific races and they enjoyed concessions from the Lions concession stand.

The Eagle Bend wrestlers just edged out the Upsala Cardinals last Thursday 33-32 in a Prairie Conference match. The Eagles are now 2-0 in the conference while Upsala drops to 1-2 in conference action.
