Recycling Recovery Facility Last Phase of Structural Improvements Approved

At the regular Todd County Commissioner meeting held on March 3, the commissioners approved the last phase of bringing the Recycling Recovery Facility into compliance.
Mike Eberle, Solid Waste, stated that over the past two years, structural improvements to the recycling facility have been completed. Placement of liner steel on the facility walls is the last phase. Bids were solicited from five area contractors. Noska Construction was low bid of $33,204.
The project was discussed with the Solid Waste Committee. It will further enhance the safety and efficiency of the recycling recovery facility.

• Hired Caleb Yapuncich, PT Correctional Officer, with start date TBD.
• Accepted resignation of Juan Vasquez Garcia, Resource Navigator/Interpreter, as of March 30.
• Approved a one day dance and one day temporary on sale liquor licenses for American Legion 417 Oscar Jacobson Post for July 11, 2026.
• Approved a one year club liquor license for American Legion 417 Oscar Jacobson Post.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Charlotte Tavern Inc.
• Approved a one year dance, 3.2 malt liquor, setup, and wine licenses for Clarissa Ballroom.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Diamond Point.
• Approved a seasonal liquor license for Double Eagle Golf & Grille.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Greystone Golf Club.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Long Prairie Country Club.
• Approved a one year 3.2 malt liquor, setup, and wine licenses for Rainbow Lodge.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Saukinac Campground.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Shad’s Golden Eagle.
• Approved a one year liquor license for Shady’s Midway Inc..
