Spin the wheel, do a task

For Teacher Appreciation Week, the Verndale School set up a week-long “Survivor” game for the staff to play.

The Verndale PTA purchased the game show idea from classteambuilding.com. A teacher in the building found the idea a few months ago and asked if they could do the game school-wide. The PTA graciously purchased it for the school and it was operated by Superintendent Jeannie Mayer and Principal Katie Bolland. The PTA also purchased all the prizes for the game.

When the staff had a spare moment, they would head into the district office and spin a digital wheel and it would land on a number. The number corresponded to a challenge in the List of Fortunes the person would have to complete in order to get points. They also had a “grab bag” where spinners could pull out a coupon or a “Big Prize” where they won a gift card. . .
