Strong Showings Across the Board, Tigers Excel at St. John's Track Meet

The Browerville Tigers track and field team turned in another strong performance Tuesday at the St. John’s meet, with athletes recording numerous personal bests, season bests, and top finishes against tough competition.

The Tigers’ sprint crews led the way early in the meet. In the boys’ 100-meter dash, sophomores Tyler Rowe and Jonah Berg both broke the 12-second mark for the first time this season. Berg placed seventh with a personal-best time of 11.88 seconds, while Rowe finished eighth in a personal-best 11.99. Ethan St. George added a 16th-place finish in 13.21.

The girls’ sprint team continued its impressive season as Brooke Perish captured third place in the 100-meter dash with a season-best 13.07. Claire Perish followed closely in fourth with a personal-best 13.45, while Raylann Morgan also recorded a personal-best time of 14.04.

Brooke Perish also had a standout performance in the 200-meter dash, placing second with a season-best 27.09. Raynn May added a personal-best 30.65, and Lydia Stearns finished in 31.27. On the boys’ side, Berg placed fourth in the 200 with a personal-best 24.37, while Rowe finished fifth in another personal-best effort at 24.61.

Quinn Lais earned a third-place finish in the girls’ 300-meter hurdles with a season-best time of 53.32. Emma Asmus and Isabella Asmus competed in the 100-meter hurdles, with Isabella recording a personal-best performance...
