Suspect flees after hitting parked car

On July 22, at approximately 3:34 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to a motor vehicle crash in the city of Browerville. It was reported that one vehicle had crashed into a parked car on Main Street.

Deputies arrived on scene and witnesses advised deputies that the driver of the vehicle had fled on foot.

Deputies worked quickly and established a perimeter where the suspect was last seen. A witness advised a deputy that the suspect was seen walking in a field nearby. Deputies quickly located and apprehended the suspect.

The suspect was subsequently placed under arrest for multiple charges. No injuries were reported.
