Ted Masog’s name is synonymous with Verndale. Many knew him as he taught music and Spanish at the school for 26 years. He was an easygoing guy that always wore a smile.

Edward “Ted” Joseph Masog, 88, passed away on April 14, leaving behind a lasting legacy.

The Masog family gathered at their childhood home in Verndale on April 20, sifting and sorting through photographs to place on boards for the service, recalling fond memories of their father and grandfather.

The home is now owned by Ted’s grandchildren, Brett and Samantha Masog.

The family organized photos from his time in the Army, travels, family photos, and holidays. . .
