Tigers bring home two victories

Last Tuesday the Browerville/Eagle Valley Softball team traveled to New York Mills to take on the Eagles in a big Section 6A matchup.
The two teams exchanged runs in the first couple of innings with NYM emerging from the 3rd inning with a 2-1 lead. The Tigers' bats came alive in the top of the 4th inning when they would score four runs on six hits. B/EV followed that up with another seven runs on seven more hits to take the 12-2 lead.
The Eagles did not go away quietly, however, as they answered with four runs of their own to extend the game. The Tigers tacked on three more runs in the 6th inning to take the lead and win the game 15-6.
The Tigers pounded out 20 hits on the day led by Tyra Myers with 4 hits and 5 RBI. . .
