Tigers defeat two Prairie Conference opponents

Last week the Tigers boys basketball team defeated two Prairie Conference opponents.

They overpowered the St. John’s Johnnies on Tuesday with a dominant defensive game.

The Tigers forced the Johnnies into 28 turnovers; 18 of those were steals by the Tigers. B/EV scored 58 first half points while holding St. John’s to 20.

The second half became running time as all the players were able to see some playing time in this one.

Miguel Maloney led all scorers with 26 points benefiting from the Tigers defense....
