Tigers Deliver Strong Performances at Pillager Track and Field Meet

The John Reimer Classic, on April 23, proved to be a competitive and productive outing for the Tiger track and field team, highlighted by multiple top finishes, personal bests, and key relay performances.
Leading the way on the track, sophomore Tyler Rowe clocked a 12.32 in the boys’ 100-meter dash, one of the team’s top sprint performances of the day. Rowe returned in the 200 meters to post a personal-best 24.86, showing continued improvement as the season progresses. Teammates Ethan St. George (13.35) and Sam Asmus (13.87) also contributed solid efforts in the 100.
In the girls’ 100-meter dash, Brooke Perish led the Tigers with a third-place finish in 13.41, earning six team points. Claire Perish followed with a seventh-place finish in 13.84. Faith Petron added a personal-best time of 15.27.
Gabby Elke and Raylann Morgan, Brooke Perish, and Claire Perish powered the girls’ 4x100-meter relay team to a second-place finish in 53.52, earning eight points. The same group, joined by Raynn May and Lydia Stearns in the 4x200, secured fifth place in 1:56.25.
In hurdles action, Emma Asmus recorded a season-best 21.49 in the 100-meter hurdles, while Quinn Lais turned in a standout performance in the 300-meter hurdles, placing fifth in 54.95 and scoring four points...
