Tigers fall to PR-B and BBE, stomp Chargers and Thunder

Browerville/Eagle Valley had a busy week with four games. On Monday they traveled to Pine River-Backus to start the week with a hard-fought game that came up just short with a one-point loss.

PR-B built up an eight-point lead before the Tigers' defense tightened up to end the half. A 10 to 2 run tied the score at 24 at the half. Parker Duncan and Dominic DeCock each scored six points in the half.

The two teams traded baskets for much of the second half. PR-B mixed in some three-point shots and opened their lead to as much as eight points on three different occasions. B/EV’s Hans Puck and Miguel Maloney started the Tigers' comeback by each making two-three point shots and scoring 18 points in a row.

Browerville/Eagle Valley had their first lead of the game with 32 seconds remaining after two made free throws by Maloney. . .
