Tigers get tripped up by Cardinals

The Tigers traveled to Staples last Thursday to take on the Cardinals.

Browerville/Eagle Valley came out flat and struggled offensively through the first half. S-M, on the other, came out firing, and had the Tigers on their heels for much of the first half.

A quick 5 - 0 lead by the Cardinals was matched by the Tigers to tie things up. The Tigers hung around to a score of 10 to 9, Cardinals, before going scoreless over the next three minutes.

B/EV had three stretches of three minutes without scoring in the first half. The Cardinals took advantage of the Tigers’ offensive struggles and opened up an eleven point lead, 23 - 12....
