Tigers host Patriots on homecoming night

The Tigers hosted the Patriots from USA for their homecoming game on Friday night. It was an old fashioned Prairie Conference match-up that had all the ups and downs you would expect from these two programs that know each other well.
These types of games usually come down to who has the least costly mistakes and who takes advantage of the other team’s misfortune. It was a hard hitting slug fest with USA coming out on top 15 - 14 when it was all said and done.
Pass plays were the hit of the night as all scoring by both teams was done through the air plus a field goal that determined the outcome. Both teams left everything on the field and in the end it again came down to a few critical penalties and one turnover that just broke the back of the Tigers yet again. . .
