Tigers playoff hopes come to an end

The Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers’ playoff run came to an end in a familiar way when they lost to the Tigers from Nevis. This was the third year in a row the two teams faced off in the Sub-Section 5A West Championship game. Nevis again came out on top. Nevis also won the Section 5A Final game and is headed to the State Tournament.
B/EV started out shooting the ball very well and were leading 14 to 13 after 6 1/2 minutes of play. Nevis then went on a 12 - 0 run over the next four minutes. Browerville/Eagle Valley managed just 13 points the rest of the half for a total of 27. Nevis put 45 first half points on the board....
