Tigers Roar Back for a 36-14 Victory over WCA-Barrett

The Tigers traveled to WCA-Barrett last Friday (September 12) and came away with a hard-fought victory with a final score of 36-14.

The first half of the game was a back-and-forth battle between 2 evenly matched teams. The Tigers scored first in the second period with a long drive where they pounded the ball and made a couple of 4th down conversions. We would get the 2-point conversion and lead by a score of 8 - 0. WCA would get a long drive of their own, tie the score, and get the 2-point conversion to tie things up. The Tigers went 3 and out, giving the ball back to the Knights with little time left. That is where things would go awry. We missed a couple of tackles for loss, and then with no time on the clock, the Knights heaved up a Hail Mary, which was caught at the 2-yard line, and the receiver would fall into the endzone for the score...
