The Tigers opened up their second week of game action with two more road games.

Tuesday night they traveled north to take on Section 5 opponent, Pine River Backus. The Tigers got off to a slow start and quickly found themselves down by 15. They would not quit that easy and were able to battle back to take the lead by 3 and eventually go into the locker room down just 3 points.

The second half started off very similar to the first half, with a slow start from Browerville, and a hot shooting start for Pine River. Down the stretch Pine River’s hot shooting and stingy full court defense was enough to beat the Tigers 73-62.

Anna Myers chipped in 19 points and 13 rebounds, Lauren Schnettler also chipped in 19 points and added in 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 5 steals. Others scoring for the Tigers were: Madison Wendel with 10, Ava Lorentz with 6, Ella Cuchna with 5 and Abby Marxer with 3. . .
