Tigers win 8 in a row, set to take on Nevis Tigers Wednesday: Puck earns 1000th point

Section 5A West playoffs have begun for the Browerville/Eagle Valley Tigers.
Last week the Tigers played both the Pine River-Backus Tigers and the Verndale Pirates. Both games were very similar as B/EV’s defense overpowered both teams.
The Tigers forced PR-B into 19 turnovers while holding Verndale to a low shooting percentage.
In both games the Tigers won the battle of the boards. B/EV’s offense moved the ball well, recording 39 team assists in two games. The Tigers scored 52 points in the first half of both games. There were also ten different players to hit the scoring column in each game. Both games also resulted in running time....
