Todd County Board of Commissioners: Board organizes for the year 2024

The Todd County Board of Commissioners met on Tuesday, January 2 to set their organizational tasks for the new year.
They first agreed and voted for Commissioner Barb Becker to serve as the board chair and for Commissioner Randy Neumann to serve as board vice chair.
After some other business, they continued with their organization which included:
• The 2024 official newspaper designation. The bid went to the three newspapers in the county: Independent News Herald, Long Prairie Leader and Staples World. The Osakis Anchor will publish the legal notices for the county at no charge for 2024.
The cost of the legal per column inch rate went from $14 last year to $18 this year....
