Todd County Board of Commissioners: Questions on butcher shop

An application for a conditional use permit (CUP) for Joseph E. Borntreger was received on June 28, 2022, for establishing a butcher shop in Eagle Valley Township in AF2 zoning.
The request was reviewed by the Planning Commission during the August 4 public hearing.
The final recommendation from the Planning Commission was to grant the CUP with the following conditions:
1. Adequate space shall be provided for off-street parking. No parking will be allowed within the road right of way.
2. Waste products shall be disposed of in a manner that complies with all federal, state, and local standards.
3. Applicant must obtain all licenses prior to the start of operation.
4. Applicant must abide by all other applicable federal, state, and local standards.
Commissioner Gary Kneisl said that he had received a call from a township member with concerns about the establishment following laws. . .
