Todd County Board of Commissioners: Resignation of county recorder accepted

With little discussion at the meeting, the Todd County Board of Commissioners accepted the resignation of County Recorder Linda Daoust.
Her intended last day is October 31, 2022.
She said because she was taking her retirement earlier than the end of her elected term it was under Minnesota Statute that the vacancy could be filled. She recommended her current Chief Deputy Recorder Kim Bosl to fill the vacancy. Bosl has also put her hat into the ring for the position of recorder at the next general election.
Daoust has been with the county for 28 years.
The board held discussion on the appointment and will make a decision at a later meeting. . .
