Todd County prepares for active threat situations

Todd County employees participated in an active threat training last Friday, August 27. Todd County Emergency Management Director Mike Wisniewski ran the training with the help of the Todd County Sheriff’s Department and other agencies. The focus was to train staff on what to do in the event of an active threat occurring at one of the county facilities. As pictured above, the attacker makes a run for another attack. The training was also to give options to staff because a gun is not always the weapon being wielded.
