Two vehicle accident
On September 24, at approximately 4:20 p.m., the Todd County Sheriff’s Office responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of County Road 11 and County Road 38.
Janice Beste, 83, of Sauk Centre, was driving her Mercury Montego car when she failed to make a complete stop at the County 38 stop sign. Beste continued through the intersection.
Nicole Hagel, 32, of Long Prairie, was traveling south on County 11 in a Ford F150.
Hagel attempted to stop when she saw the car in her lane, however, was unable to and collided with Beste’s passenger side.
Beste was transported to the CentraCare Hospital by ambulance with suspected minor injuries.
Hagel was not injured.
