Verndale School Board: New year begins with organizational meeting

The Verndale School Board held their regular meeting on Tuesday, January 2.

The meeting began with the organizational meeting. Scott Veronen remains board chair, Shyla Hess remains vice chair, Chris Youngbauer remains clerk, and Tyler Fisher was appointed treasurer. Meeting date and time remains the same—the first Monday of the month at 6 p.m.

Administrative Reports

Principal Katie Bolland shared the band and choir students will be attending “How The Grinch Stole Christmas” at the Children’s Theater on January 4.

The end of the quarter/first semester is January 19....
