Verndale School Board: Student attendance is up from last year

The Verndale School Board held their regular meeting on February 5.

Administrative Reports

Principal Katie Bolland shared report cards have been sent out. A vaping and social media presentation was made to the students by Dan Huebsch of Community Concern for Youth (CCY.)

Bolland, Superintendent Jeannie Mayer and Teachers Matthew Parker, Julia Gwiazdon, Sara Ross and Dan Stelck attended the High Reliable Schools National Summit in San Antonio, Texas.

Snow Days is February 12-17. AVID site visit at Montrose Elementary and Buffalo Middle School on February 29. Student attendance through the school year so far is at 93.31%, up from 92.87% last year.

Lakewood will present a panel for those students interested in the heath field on February 21....
